Delaney’s VPK Graduation Picture

She had  a great year in Mrs. Adair and Mrs. Steele’s VPK class at The Children’s Workshop!  We are so proud of her!  She’s learned to read, has made many friends, and all of her teachers report that she is a great, well-rounded kid…and a BIT goofy!  Kenny and I can’t believe that Kindergarten is around the corner!

Happy 3 Months, Finn!

Finn is now 3 months old- how time flies! He now weighs 14lb, 4oz, is 24 inches long, wears size 2 diapers, and is still in 3-6 month clothes! He is now sleeping though the night- since 9 weeks old!  He did so well with his vaccines- no fussiness at all!  He actually started sleeping through the night he got his shots! I woke up at 5:45am and shot out of bed- I hadn't heard a peep from him.  But there he was, sleeping away!  Such a great kiddo!  He goes to bed around 7:30pm, takes a "dream feed" of 4oz around 10pm, and may stir once or twice a night, but I just run down the hall and put his binky in, and he sleeps until around 7:30am.  He is getting into a good napping routine, at least for the afternoons.  He takes a bottle around 1pm, then naps until around 4pm!  He still gets swaddled, but he isn't sleeping on an incline anymore.  I am dreading putting him to sleep not swaddled!  His skin had broken out and become very sensitive- we cured it with a good ole’ Head and Shoulders shampoo and scrub, followed by lotioning him head to toe!  So gross!  But it worked!  He recently started laughing out loud and his legs are getting so strong, he is able to bridge and lift his butt off the ground. Aunt Malory got to meet Finn this month, too!  He also went to his first Gator Orange and Blue game at 11 weeks old!  Raising 'em right!!

Aunt Malory Visits

Malory came up this past weekend to meet Finn and hang out with the girls!  We had a great time!  We went shopping, to the girls’ soccer game, made Easter cookies, chef Kenny Kim made us sushi, and we played in the yard!  Malory brought up fun projects: Easter cookies and a Gator blanket for Finn!

Finn’s1st Orange and Blue Game- 11 weeks old

 

We went to Gainesville for the Orange and Blue scrimmage game and Kenny’s NROTC reunion.  Rhonda came with us, and we met up with my CI from my pediatric internship, Tracy, her husband, Ross, and their two kids Brayden and Kaitlyn.  Kenny and I hadn’t seen them in 5 years!  By the end of the day, Brayden was calling Delaney and Lucy his cousins!  The girls LOVED the game, and Delaney insisted on staying the WHOLE TIME!  We were so proud!

Papa took Delaney to a Stetson baseball game on Friday night!  She even got a blue Italian ice!

What we wake up to…

This is how Delaney and Lucy come out every morning when they wake up…Delaney usually first around 6:30 or 7am, then Lucy about 30 min later.  They have scared me to death sometimes!  They are animal blankets with head and claws: Delaney Dog and Lucy Lion!
