Happy Thanksgiving!

Everyone has been so sick around here lately!  It started with Delaney (and most of her class at school), then went to Lucy, then Kenny, and last but not least...me!  Lucy ended up getting ear and eye infections, too!  Kenny and Delaney stayed home from our Thanksgiving Dinner at the Morgan's because they were sick!  We ended up doing our own "belated" Thanksgiving Dinner once we all felt better!

We had a small gathering of close friends and family for Lucy's 3rd birthday!  We had a pizza party with a Belle cake!  Lucy cried during the singing of Happy Birthday because she wanted to do the cake inside the house! We sang to her again, but she just wouldn't crack a smile!

Our little girl is 3!!  We started the day with the customary "It's Your Birthday! How Old Are You Picture" in bed!  Lucy opened her presents, some of her favorites were an electronic dog she named Snow While, a Princess laptop, and her own rolling luggage.  She decided that she wanted Dunkin Donuts for her birthday breakfast, so the girls and I headed there!  She got an orange/Fall glazed donut and Delaney got a pink/strawberry glazed!  It's the little things in life that make them so happy!  Her birthday was on Black Friday, so we went to Walmart to check out the sales, and had a good time!  For dinner, she chose to go out for sushi to Takeya.  What three year old chooses sushi for their birthday dinner???!?!?!  Our Little Lucy!

Surprise Baby Shower at Work

Some of my wonderful co-workers threw me a surprise baby shower at work for Mr. Finn!  I was shocked and touched!  They were so generous and stocked us up with diapers (I got THREE diaper cakes), wipes, onesies, and boy things!  We had beautiful cupcakes and ice cream!  Finn and I are so lucky!

Baby Shower!

Mom, Aunt Bernice, Andrea, and Renee threw me a surprise shower for Finn on November 13, 2010.  We went to Renee's for dinner on Friday night, and surprise, Andrea and Lacy were there!  We made plans to have a nice girls lunch out on Saturday, so we came to my house so I could get ready.  We went to my mom's to say hi to her, but there was a PARTY!  It was so sweet- alot of friends, coworkers, and neighbors were there, and Delaney and Lucy were surprised as well!  They helped me open gifts, play games, and had alot of fun!  I loved that the girls were included!
